March Favs!

First of all, can you believe it's April???? March flew by. I'm not complaining because that means summer is around the corner. :) Now, I'll talk about what I'm really here to talk about. March was a good month for me. I went a little crazy buying stuff so I tried to pick the stuff that has become essential for me.

I think I should start by telling you about my hair. It is extremely oily. I have to wash my hair every. single. day. In high school (which seems like a million years ago to me now), I would have to wash my bangs after I got home from school because they would be completely greased over. Gross, I know. It has gotten better, but it's still bad. Then I discovered the first product I have here. TIGI Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo. It's AMAZING! I have used other brands before, but this stuff works wonders for me. I can actually skip a day washing my hair. And it gives me volume. LOVE.

I also decided to give the brand LUSH a try this month and now I'm a lushy, but that's for another blog. I know I'm late to this fad, but It's hard to get me to try stuff. Anyways, I got the I LOVE JUICY shampoo. It smells SOOOO good. It has pineapples, mango, and kiwi juices in it. It is great when I use it in the mornings. It perks me right up. But besides the smell, it works! It cleanses my hair, but also gives me the softest texture. I love the way my hair feels after I use it. Other shampoos that are for oily hair always make my hair tangle really easy.

Only one thing for skincare this month and it is Clinique's acne solutions clarifying lotion. As you can see I've used a pretty goos amount of this stuff and I love it. I really think that it is important to include a toner is your skincare routine and this one addresses the issues I have with my skin. March as been an unusually stressful month for me so my skin has been crazy, but I think without this it would have been completely hopeless. It has helped me to control my breakouts as much as possible.

And my March makeup favorites. I'll just jump right in from left to right.
First, my MAC studio sculpt concealer in NW20. This stuff is amazing for under eye concealer. The consistency, which is gel-like to me, is perfect for covering up my under eye circles. It blends nicely and doesn't sit into my fine lines like other concealers do.

Next I have my Clinique bottom lash mascara. This stuff is genius. It it so much easier to apply and it doesn't budge! I have issues with mascara running down my face, but this has solved all that.

This next product is probably the most amazing discovery ever! It is the Estee Lauder Double Wear Max foundation in Creamy Ivory (I use it as a concealer). It is in a sample bottle and I'll tell you why. I went to a makeup event last weak at my local Estee Lauder counter and was dying to try this, So I got a sample. I have purchased an actual tube of this, but the woman at the makeup counter pre-sold it to me so I could get the gift sample set at the end of the month. So after April 25th I can go and pick up my Double Wear Max and my gift bag. :) But back to the product. This stuff covers like nothing else! I could NOT find anything to cover blemishes. Everything always would come off no matter how much I would use setting powder. I thought I was doomed to eternally have my horrible skin show to the world, and then I seen a video by Holly or YYMB on youtube and she uses this stuff. It's a miracle from God. I will never be without it again. I could never use it as foundation, because this stuff is heavy. But as concealer it's prefect.
And then I have my NARS blush in Deep Throat. The name is so rude, but the color is so lovely. I have wore it like every day since I got it. It goes with any look.

Oh and I forgot to take a picture, but i'll mention it anyways. I fell back in love with my Bare Minerals Matte blush this month. There for a while I was liking the Revlon Colorstay for oily skin liquid foundation. and I honestly don't know what I was thinking. No offense to Revlon it did a good job for oily skin, but my Bare Minerals is just amazing. It makes my skin look so much healthier and gives is a glow. It's wonderful. The matte formula is great for my skin. It has great coverage and it's fool proof. I'm never deviating again.

What was your March favs? Thanks for reading! xx
